Clown In a Cornfield, and its sequels Clown In a Cornfield 2: Frendo Lives and Clown In a Cornfield 3: Church of Frendo, are YA horror novels by Adam Cesare. They're about a dying Midwestern town called Kettle Springs, its mascot Frendo, and how ageism and the generation gap can get hundreds of innocent people poisoned and slaughtered in the name of freedom and the American way!
I mean. Mostly they're about clowns killing people in needlessly nasty ways. But also about Toxic Americana and such.
But I digress. Meet Quinn Maybrook!
technically she will start out in the game with considerably less hair
Quinn here just spent the last year living out of her car while she traveled the country wreaking vengeance on the MAGA-brain-rotted redditors who tried to murder her adopted hometown and "reveal" that she's a queer liberal conspiracist out to take down good old fashioned wholesome culture! And they think that because at the start of her senior year, three days after moving to Kettle Springs, Missouri, the adults of the town decided to "cull" their population by murdering her fellow teenagers while dressed in clown costumes.
She has Seen Some Things, okay?
Quinn will be coming to Fandom directly after her final scene in Clown In a Cornfield 3: Church of Frendo, when she staggers out of a burning Frendo effigy with a mutilated foot, unsure if she's seeing the real world or some kind of afterlife.
You know, as one does.
Quinn is traumatized. She's scarred. She's deeply angry. She's got gun skills and a "calloused soul" and she is all out of goals, since her last one was "take Arthur Hill and Frendo down once and for all" and it appears she's managed that. She'd have a death wish if she weren't half-sure she's already dead. She is sure to make lots of friends. ;D
(Nah, but really, girl is on a hair trigger and used to using whatever happens to be around to fight people to the death. She will take swings. I promise to arrange all violence OOCly as needed.)
But uh. If someone wants to find her staggering along the streets when she first arrives and get her to the clinic to get her toes sewn back on — or properly amputated maybe — let me know! I don't have that planned out yet.
